Telehandler/forklift Operator – Full-time in Person Position

The Telehandler/Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating telehandler reach forklifts to move, relocate, and stack/organize materials. Daily tasks include material inventory, receiving, unloading materials, handling and packing materials, and ensuring efficient material movement within the worksite. The role is on-site and located in Ft. Collins, CO.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspection and light maintenance of equipment
Stock framing crews/production areas with needed materials throughout the workday
Lift and secure material loads for framing crews
Rigging loads
Document and maintain material counts upon delivery and as stocked at another location on site
Organize and clean production area material staging
Assist framing superintendent on site as needed, create quality control punchlists, perform light duty framing work etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in Receiving and Unloading materials
Proficiency in Material Handling and Packing
Skilled in Forklift Operation
OSHA certified telehandler certificate preferred but will train
OSHA certified 10 hr or more preferred but will train
Rigging certification preferred but will train
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
Prior experience in the wood framing/construction industry
Computer skills a plus, Email, Construction software etc.-Company Tablet utilized for material tracking and documentation
Drivers License
High school diploma or equivalent
